Grey Dressing Table & Jewellery Cabinet
GREY DRESSING TABLE & JEWELLERY CABINET
This project consists of three items, a small dressing table with drawer, an accompanying stool and a wall hung jewellery cabinet. They are all made using winter felled, Scottish Sycamore and finished with white oil.
DRESSING TABLE & STOOL
The table and stool have complimentary detailing in the wedged tenons and subtle tapering legs. A floating hand-dovetailed drawer nests beneath the table top.
The jewellery cabinet, with its subtle bow-front, was designed to house necklaces, earings and bracelets on a handmade pegboard. Small turned cones look after smaller items such as rings. 3 central drawers on concealed timber runners divide the pegboard from a small shelf for perfumes and hair products.
The lower section has an adjustable dowel rack for special shoes.
The doors have a slight gull-wing profile and are retained on concealed magnets with leather buffers.
